Donald Trump's Pandemic Bankruptcy

Donald Trump has filed bankruptcy on the Covid-19 pandemic. He is ready to ignore the disastrous health decisions his administration has made, hide from lethal projections, and paint a rosy picture of the future. He has "moved-on".

The RNC focus upon Joe Biden and fear of socialism provided a bankruptcy safety net that was designed to protect Trump from pandemic accountability and the wrath of a nation. The newly concocted "Law and Order" theme is just an add-on to these diversion tactics.

In a very similar manner, Donald Trump’s failing businesses filed for bankruptcy six times between 1991 and 2009 (Politico). In each case, Trump’s businesses received safety net protections, and thousands of employees/vendors suffered.

On September 3, 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic has killed approximately 185,000 Americans, the unemployment rate is 10.2 percent, and our National Debt (26.5 Trillion) is about to surpass the size of our GNP economy. Sadly, these nightmarish statistics seldom surfaced during the RNC Convention.

"Businesses are allowed to file for bankruptcy to protect their interests and reduce accountability; presidents should not have this luxury."

Please remember to vote in November. This president must be held accountable for his continuing failures.
